The Mouse and The Lion Speech For Associated Products Corporation

Most of you may know the Aesop fable regarding a mouse and a lion. If you haven't, please allow me a moment to elaborate: "A Lion lay asleep in the forest, his great head resting on his paws. A timid little Mouse came upon him unexpectedly, and in her fright and haste to get away, ran across the lion's nose. Roused from his nap, the lion laid his huge paw angrily on the tiny creature to kill her. "Spare me!" begged the poor mouse. "Please let me go, and someday I will surely repay you."

As she stood there passionately pleading for her generation, the emotions on her face are a mixture of pain, anger, and sadness. At just Sixteen years old Greta Thunberg captured the attention of the entire audience of adults at the United Nations in New York on Monday afternoon. Greta Thunberg is a young environmental activist from Sweden and who coincidentally has Asperger's Syndrome. While most of the conservative right choose to call it a disability, Thunberg is very outspoken about her condition, even calling it her "Superpower."

Having some initial cash, Russ went to task thinking of ways to get more. Since he was doing 4H in high school, he had a couple of cows and decided to sell them. With that Jack and the Beanstalk inspired maneuver, he had the rest of the money he needed, and he purchased the 1964 Chevrolet Impala for $700 from a young college student at Colorado State University.

The Police & Color Discrepancy in America

Throughout the history of our nation, we have prided ourselves on the fact that we are a country comprised of immigrants. We as a union revel in the fact that we are separate but equal, and that we are a melting pot of uniqueness. From our first days in school we are taught that everyone is equal, and in the eyes of the law we are innocent until proven guilty. That ideology may very well be true, but not if your skin tone is darker than your Caucasian counterparts.

Agency Creative Strategies Final (Latinworks)

The creative ad agency I chose to delve into for this assignment is Latinworks which are based in Austin, Texas. When choosing to write about this company I factored in several key features. The first being that they are local to my area. Second, they are a Latin and Hispanic focused company, which if truth be told we don’t have enough of in our society. Lastly, after reading the information they provided on their website, they seemed like a company that I would consider trying to gain employment with after I graduate.

Creative Strategy for Taylor Guitars

Taylor Guitars, founded in 1974 in El Cajon California, has been a leader and innovator in the guitar Industry. (Beaumont, A., 2018) Taylor Guitars pride themselves on using exotic and unconventional woods in their guitar-making process. Taylor also invented both the bolt-in-neck in 1999 and the Expression System or ES for short, in 2004. The T5 Hollowbody, one of their newest designs, is an innovation in the guitar industry. It is compatible with both acoustic and electric amps and can instantly change playstyles. The T5 Hollowbody comes in four different models including Classic, Standard, Pro, and Custom. The T5 prices range from the “Classic” which starts at $1899 to the “Custom” priced at $3199. The target consumer for the T5 is going to be 25-34 years of age, and already playing either the blues, jazz or both. More than likely they will have been playing for several years and understand the value and versatility of the T5. According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the average annual income for that age range is $58,065 in 2016. (BLS, 2016) The income of this age group is vital since the cost of the T5 is on the higher end of the pricing spectrum. The most direct competition for Taylor would be Martin Guitars first, Gibson Guitars second, and Ovation guitars third.
